In person, its sychophantic entorage says ‘you look beautiful’, but it really looks like its wearing soneone elses face streched over its skull.

The front end is Lexus/Peugeot horrific. The rest of it is OK, but it’s likely designed to be slippery and get maximum mileage.

I’ve seen them in person.

There have been very few cars that I found so unattractive that I’d stop in the middle of a jog to take a second look, but the new Prius is one of those cars. Terrible, and I’m a huge fan of the Prius C too!

I dislike the rav4 but I’m a sucker for the faux futuristic styling of the Prius. I have zero interest in owning one I just think they’re neat looking.

I usually take the side of Lexus and Toyota when this website bashes them but the 2016 Prius is a bit too overstyled. It’s not hideous, it’s just a bit much for a Prius.

The body has put so much design into it, but my 2006 Civic has better rims.

Interesting is a good word, I just think the dead on front view makes it one of the most purposefully ugly cars being made today (Except maybe that giant bloated Infinity whose model name escapes me). Everything else looks decent if way over-styled for how beige the drivers are.

It’s face is like an evil Stitch(cartoon) or a bat. The only thing I like are the rear lights at night. Awful wheels. The front end is a mess if you ask me.

It’s grown on me.

My first thought, and IIRC that was even seeing it in person, was that it was terrible, but at least Toyota tried, which is saying a lot for Toyota.

Now that I’ve seen more of them, I think I get what they were going for. It’s like you took 1950s-1970s Citroën designers, and locked them in a room with only anime and manga for a few months, and then told them to design an aerodynamic car.

I like that taillight - I intensely admire the taillight - but as for the rest of the car, I think the 2nd-generation Prius was handsomer in every way. The new one’s lines are far, far too busy, particularly that awful grille.

These car styling fads come and go, and I look forward to the next time the designers remember that they not only have pencils, they also have erasers.
